Sinking of Water Supply Boreholes

Drilling of new water supply boreholes from 150mm (6") to 1050mm (42") to depths of upto 1000m.

We undertake contracts and works on boreholes for many different applications including domestic, industrial, commercial, agricultural, water authority, and geothermal purposes.

We offer a full turn key system on new installations from initial feasibility study, to drilling of the borehole, test pumping of the borehole, to connecting and commissioning the system, to obtaining abstraction licence from the Environment Agency.

We have a full and comprehensive account included on the project profiles section, detailing a variety of types of works that have been undertaken by the company, ranging from past contracts to present day contracts.

Drilling Methods

Drilling methods used include cable tool, rotary mud/polymer, air and water flush, and reverse circulation. Cable tool drilling can achieve a verticality of better than 1 in 300 which is better than the Environment Agency and most water authority standards of 1 in 100, and is an invaluable method if site constraints dictate.
